Important information for your journey with Lufthansa Express Bus
- Online or mobile check-in is available from 23 hours up to 15 minutes before your bus departs.
- One boarding pass each for Lufthansa Express Bus and your connecting flight.
- Your boarding pass serves as your bus ticket.
- Travel is only possible with a ticket booked and paid for in advance.
- Tickets cannot be bought on the bus.

Flight via Frankfurt (FRA)
Please note: There is currently no bag drop available at the AiRail Terminal
The AiRail Terminal at Frankfurt Airport is temporarily closed due to building work. For bag drop, please use the kiosks and counters in Departure Halls A and B. Just follow the signs.
After landing at Frankfurt Airport, and if you are continuing your journey with Lufthansa Express Rail or Lufthansa Express Bus, you can still collect your baggage from the carousel in the AiRail Terminal at the long-distance train station.
Frankfurt Airport (FRA): Terminal 1 – THE SQUAIRE WEST – near the long-distance train station
Strasbourg (XER):
- Central station
- Boulevard de Metz
- Hilton Strasbourg (junction of Avenue Herrenschmidt and Rue Richard Strauss)
- In each case, arrival at/departure from the Hilton Strasbourg will be 15 minutes later than the time published in the timetable.

Your baggage drop-off options:
- For bag drop, please use the kiosks and counters in Departure Halls A and B.
- Lufthansa baggage regulations apply to all Lufthansa Express Bus connections. The free baggage allowance complies with the baggage regulations of your connecting flight.
Your baggage reclaim options:
After landing in Frankfurt, you can collect your baggage at the AiRail Terminal. When you have collected your baggage, please follow the signs to the Lufthansa Express Bus on Squaire West. Because of customs regulations, baggage may not be transported automatically straight to the bus.

- Munich Airport (MUC): Munich Airport bus station, stop 13
- Nuremberg (NUE): car park P2/corner Mövenpick Hotel, Nuremberg Airport
- Munich Airport (MUC): Munich Airport bus station, stop 17
- Innsbruck Airport (INN): Bus stop in front of the terminal

After landing in Munich, you can collect your baggage from the carousel of your arriving flight. When you have collected your baggage, please follow the signs to the bus station. Because of customs regulations, baggage may not be transported automatically straight to the bus.
It only takes a few minutes to walk between the bus stop and Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport. If you don’t have much time, as a Lufthansa Express Bus customer you always have the option of using the fast lanes at security so you can reach your departure gate quickly and conveniently.
