How to download directly
With one simple click on your smartphone or tablet, you can go to the App Store or Google Play where you can download the Lufthansa app. If you use a laptop or desktop computer, just scan the appropriate QR code with your tablet or smartphone.
Seamlessly connected – with your personal Travel ID
Lufthansa app and Travel ID: the perfect pair. After registering in the Lufthansa app with your Travel ID, your details are stored. Make the most of lots of benefits and personalised services. If you wish, you can also earn miles with your Travel ID.

Book flights, reserve your favourite seat, have your mobile boarding pass issued and use many other services. Push notifications give you relevant updates about your flights and suitable offers – at exactly the right moment.
Don’t forget: use the Lufthansa app together with your Travel ID. By doing so, you can keep an overview of all your bookings and have access to your travel plans at any time. Future bookings will be automatically added if you have made them when logged in. You can also add bookings manually.
Keep an eye on everything with the Lufthansa app Trip Assistant
Before the flight – during the flight – after the flight. The Lufthansa app Trip Assistant accompanies you with lots of useful functions during every phase of your journey. Simply click on one of your bookings in the “My flights” overview.
Mobile check-in
With the Lufthansa app, check-in is seamless and relaxed. The app tells you when it’s time for your flight – and after you have checked in, your boarding pass is saved automatically in the app. So you always have it to hand.
Keeping an eye on your baggage
After you have dropped off your baggage, your digital baggage receipt will appear in the Lufthansa app, and you can track when your baggage was loaded. In addition, at our Frankfurt and Munich hubs the app will tell you after arrival which baggage carousel you can collect your baggage from.
Faster through security
The Lufthansa app shows you the current waiting times at security at our Frankfurt and Munich hubs and at other airports. If your departure airport offers the option of booking a time slot for the security check, the Lufthansa app can tell you this too. So you can book your access in advance and plan your time at the airport better.
Download travel reading
Packed everything except a book? From five days before departure up to your last travel day, you can download numerous newspapers and magazines free of charge as eJournals via the Lufthansa app.
View menus on board and pre-order
Look forward to good food on board. Choose your favourites from our Onboard Delights menu on European flights of over 60 minutes flying time. Use the Lufthansa app to take a look at the current menu and find out when you can pre-order fresh food. Are you travelling in Business Class on long-haul? If so, you can choose your main meal up to 24 hours before departure using the Lufthansa app.
Check the availability of Wi-Fi and in-flight entertainment
You can see at first glance whether FlyNet® and in-flight entertainment will be available on your flight, and find out about the current entertainment programme.
Get information about transfers
With the Lufthansa app you can easily find the gate for your connecting flight. At Frankfurt, Munich and other airports, the app also shows you the respective time it takes to get to the gate.
