More space, more service, more comfort: make your trip with Lufthansa even more enjoyable. For an upgrade, you basically have three options to choose from.
Upgrade at a fixed price: depending on your existing flight class and your flight route, we can offer you an upgrade here at an already existing fixed price.
Upgrade at the price you want: make us an offer and, with a bit of luck, you’ll get your upgrade.
Upgrade with miles: redeem your accrued miles for an upgrade award.
At some of our airports, you can even secure your upgrade, subject to availability, at the last minute at a fixed price or by redeeming miles at the check-in/bag drop-off counter, ticket counter or at the gate.
Upgrade to Premium Economy Class
On long-haul flights
Enjoy more personal space and other amenities, such as a fruity welcome drink, in Premium Economy Class.
Upgrade to Business Class
On long-haul flights
Relax before departure in one of the Lufthansa Business Lounges, and make yourself comfortable on your flight in the new Business Class seat which can be converted into an almost two-metre-long bed. Enjoy a generous feeling of space and our excellent in-flight service.
On short and medium-haul routes
Before departure, make the most of the benefits of our lounges and save valuable time with priority check-in and priority boarding. On board, you can look forward to more personal space and a nutritious meal.
Upgrade to First Class
On long-haul flights
Start your exclusive journey in our First Class Terminal and enjoy precious privacy as well as culinary highlights on your flight. At both your departure and your arrival airport, your personal assistant will accompany you, looking after all your travel formalities in a discreet and timely manner.
