1) Not to be overlooked: "The Walking Man", erected in 1995 on Leopoldstraße, wears size 302 shoes.

2) Jimi Hendrix smashed his guitar for the first time in November 1966 at the Schwabing disco Big Apple – making music history.

3) And it clicked! The first photo in Germany was taken in 1839 by the scientists Carl August von Steinheil and Franz von Kobell. The subject? The famous Frauenkirche.

4) Munich's oldest building is a toilet! Excavated in 1261 at the Marienhof plaza. However, we strongly advise against using it.

5) Albert Einstein was a multi-talent – mathematician, physicist, and Oktoberfest assistant! At 17, the future Nobel laureate earned some extra money by screwing light bulbs to the ceiling of the Schottenhamel Festhalle tent at the Oktoberfest.
