Whether it’s Seattle or Johannesburg, Hyderabad, or Minneapolis, we will fly you from Munich and Frankfurt to your desired destination.

Minneapolis
Wild nature and vibrant culture
Go kayaking along the mighty Mississippi or experience modern art in the Walker Art Center: Minneapolis is colorful, eclectic, offers an abundance of varied activities and is the perfect starting point for exploring Minnesota’s monumental landscapes. Majestic forests, magnificent prairies and spectacular, deep-blue lakes invite you to rediscover the Northern United States. Lufthansa will fly direct to Minneapolis from Frankfurt several times a week with effect from summer 2024.
Raleigh-Durham
Freedom and adventure – a summer in the Southern States
Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina, offers an incomparable variety of art, culture, and outdoor activities. Fancy a game of golf? There are more than 350 golf courses in the state, some of which have an international reputation. Thanks to the mild winters and warm summers, you can enjoy the manicured lawns or the wild countryside between the Outer Banks and the Blue Ridge Mountains all year round. The 1,900-km/1,175-mile-long Mountains-to-Sea Trail, for example, is a breathtaking hiking route through North Carolina’s stunning natural beauty. From summer 2024, Lufthansa will fly direct to Raleigh from Frankfurt several times a week year-round.
Seattle
The evergreen of the Pacific Northwest
An incomparable coastline, a thriving gastro-scene and unspoiled nature – that’s Seattle. This coastal city in the Pacific Northwest, with its rugged countryside and diverse food scene, offers a wide variety of possibilities. Whether you want to go whale watching along the Pacific coast or visit the world’s first Starbucks coffee shop, Seattle is a dream destination. From summer 2024, you will be able to fly for the first time several times a week direct from Munich to this dynamic city in the “Evergreen State” and find inspiration in its almost infinitely beautiful scenery.

Hyderabad
High tech and a regal appearance
Hyderabad – it’s like entering another world. As capital of the state of Telangana in south-central India, Hyderabad is rich in both history and tourist attractions. Fly from Frankfurt to visit the ancient fortress of Golconda or the Charminar Monument and be amazed by the historic, regal architecture in the middle of this vibrant, high-tech city. Hyderabad is now also included in the Lufthansa 2024 summer flight schedule, with several flights a week from Frankfurt.
Bengaluru
India’s city of gardens
Fly direct from Munich to Mysore Palace or to the famous Lalbagh Botanical Garden. Bengaluru, capital of the state of Karnataka, is one of India’s fastest growing cities. In addition to its many long-established parks and gardens, it offers a variety of historical attractions. There will be up to six flights a week to Bengaluru in the 2024 summer flight schedule. Be amazed by colorful markets and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of India.
Shanghai
A city-break full of contrast
Look forward to an unforgettable experience between the modern and the traditional. Shanghai offers a fascinating skyline and a flourishing art scene. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple or Yu Garden in Shanghai and be inspired by ancient martial arts. From summer 2024, Lufthansa will operate two flights a day from Frankfurt to China’s biggest city.
Go south: head for South Africa
Johannesburg
Safaris and street art
Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city, impresses with its diversity and its lively, colorful streets. Discover “the Big Five” on safari or be inspired by the many artists and galleries in the up-and-coming creative district of Maboneng. Whether it’s the Market Theatre or Mandela House, Johannesburg is rich in art and culture and with its museums and tourist attractions offers almost limitless opportunities for an unforgettable travel experience. And you will be able to fly there several times a week direct from Munich for the first time.
New destinations for the world’s biggest passenger aircraft
In summer 2024 a total of six Airbus A380s will be stationed in Munich, so you can book yourself a special travel experience on the routes to Boston, Los Angeles, Washington, and New York. You will also be able to enjoy the peace and quiet and comfort of the biggest aircraft in the Lufthansa fleet on the route to the Indian capital, Delhi.
