Menus in Economy Class

On long-haul flights in Economy Class you can look forward to an attentive in-flight service that varies depending on the length of the flight and the destination. It always includes a cocktail service, a 3-course menu and a second meal.

Cocktail service

After take-off, our cocktail service offers you an extensive choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, each served with a savoury snack.

3-course menu

The cocktail service is followed by a 3-course meal during which you have a choice of two hot main courses. Regularly changing salads and desserts round off the meal. After the meal, we serve you tea or coffee or a digestif.

Second meal and, if appropriate, snacks

Depending on the length of your flight, you can choose a small hot or cold dish as your second meal in Economy Class. On some routes you will also receive a snack between meals.

Coffee, white wine or juice – on board Lufthansa flights you can expect an extensive choice of complimentary beverages. You can choose between hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Depending on the length of your flight, beverages will be served several times; on request you can also have drinks brought to your seat between services.

On selected international Lufthansa routes you will get to know some typical culinary delights from the country you are visiting whilst still on board. Regional chefs from prestigious hotels will spoil you with their excellent menus.
