When checking in via the Lufthansa App, the generated boarding pass will automatically be stored within the App. Thus making the boarding pass available at any time, no matter if a mobile data-connection is available at the time.
Another new feature is the direct access to the “Info&Service” section straight from the apps main navigation screen. The “Timetable” section offers additional options to sort and structure as well as additional weather information. The latter also is available in the “Flight Status” section.
