Frankfurt airport: Change of Gate letter from A to Z
Frankfurt airport, Germany’s most important gateway, will soon be expanded by the Pier A-Plus. To integrate the new pier into the existing infrastructure the first preparatory steps are being taken already.
Therefore we’d like to inform you that the gates in the Non-Schengen area in Terminal 1, Pier A will be re-named, overnight on 23 November 2011: Gates A51 to A65 will now be called Gates Z11 to Z25.
The opening of the new pier is planned for summer 2012. Besides 23 new gates the passengers will find attractive shopping opportunities here as well as five new Lufthansa Lounges.
