The Lufthansa bag drop-off areas are located in Terminal 1 in Departures Halls A and B. Travellers arriving by Lufthansa Express Rail and Lufthansa Express Bus can drop off their baggage in the AIRail Terminal

At Frankfurt Airport you can drop off your baggage yourself at a self-service bag drop kiosk. To do this, scan your boarding pass at a bag tag machine and attach this to the long side of your baggage item.
