Lufthansa expands its in-flight entertainment offer on board !
From May 2011 even more entertainment is being provided for you on Lufthansa long-haul flights: the in-flight entertainment programme is being expanded and will offer an even greater choice, particularly for music and sports fans.
In the ListenRelax category, in addition to 30 international radio channels, passengers in all classes of travel will be offered 222 CDs encompassing different musical styles - ranging from classical to club sounds, rock & pop, soundtracks, jazz, opera, musicals, greatest hits, contemporary, country & folk right up to the ‘World’s Finest ’.
The Sport section in the WatchEnjoy category offers you a considerably expanded range of the latest sports coverage. With exclusive round-ups of the German national football team‘s home games, of all the German Football Association’s cup ties and Bundesliga match days, as well as highlights from the English Premier League, football fans stay on the ball even on the aircraft. Up-to-the-minute highlights from other sports such as tennis or golf are also available.
And in the KidsFun category - which is also available in First and Business Class - our youngest passengers can find exciting films and music programmes with music CDs and audio books as well as everything to do with JetFriends, the Lufthansa Club for kids and teens, which has its own JetFriends radio channel.
Your inflight entertainment programme in First and Business Class
First and Business Class passengers enjoy a comprehensive entertainment programme with the expanded Lufthansa Media World. The five categories: WatchEnjoy, ListenRelax, StudyPlay, KidsFun and FlyLufthansa can be individually downloaded onto the screen at each seat: 65 video options with 30 cinema films in up to eight languages, 25 TV programmes and 10 music magazines from all over the world, 222 CDs and audio books on demand, 30 radio programmes with numerous international channels, an extensive children’s programme for our youngest passengers, games of skill, action games and board and strategy games as well as language courses are readily available. In Business and First Class every passenger also receives the monthly Lufthansa Media World programme listing.
Passengers on the A380 can put together their own in-flight entertainment from an even greater selection of programmes: 50 films in up to eight language versions, 75 TV and music programmes, 30 Lufthansa radio channels, 222 CDs on demand and games, as well as service information about Lufthansa and a Moving Map (with 3D function).
Your Inflight Entertainment Programme in Economy Class
Entertain yourself as it suits you best with Entertainment on Demand via your personal screen*: with the user-friendly touch-screen navigation it is easy to the put together your favourite program from our extensive range of entertainment. The menu guide is available to our passengers in ten languages and the entertainment on offer changes each month.
In the category WatchEnjoy we offer you 18 of the very latest feature films in up to eight language versions. The range of TV series and music videos includes 35 programs. ListenRelax offers 30 international radio channels and 222 CDs encompassing different musical styles. Classical, jazz, pop & rock or world music - the choice is yours.
On KidsFun our youngest passengers can find exciting films and music programs with music CDs and audio books, as well as everything to do with JetFriends, the Lufthansa Club for kids and teenagers which has its own JetFriends radio channel. FlyLufthansa provides you with service information about your flight. As well as international news with the economic, political and sporting headlines, the latest information from the world of Lufthansa is also ready for you to download.
